Welcome.
I started a blog - Finally. As most of my close friends and family know, I have just completed my first week here in Kona, HI with Youth with A Mission (YWAM). So much has happened thus far that has been written in my first newsletter. To keep it short, this is so surreal. God is moving in every way you can imagine in my life and in the lives of my peers. I have been slowly getting to know the island, which I will talk more about in the next official newsletter. But for this post I wanted to introduce to you what I am doing here and why I am here.
The #1 question people ask you here is “How did you get to YWAM?” I figured I would share with you, in order to give some kind of clarity as to why on earth I moved to Hawaii. (Short answer: GOD)… In the midst of radical change in my life this past year, I asked God, ‘what do I do?’ because I was transferring and moving back home after I built a life in a new city. God reminded me of YWAM one night, I have always kinda known about it, so it wasn’t too out of the ordinary. I felt in my heart that it was time; Time to drop everything I knew and follow God. So that night I applied to the Fire and Fragrance school for discipleship training school (DTS). The NEXT day, my dad called me and asked if I have ever heard of YWAM. That was all the confirmation I needed. Now, Here I am. I will be spending the next three months training, going to school and getting ready for three months on outreach somewhere in the world to teach people about the gospel.
With that said I hope you find in your heart to support me as a missionary. Whether that be subscribing too frequent-ish newsletter or gving financially.
bye bye.
